Corn Exchange Gallery
Now a showcase for local arts and crafts, this space was formerly used for the buying and selling of grain. This was renovated as part of the overall Guildhall project, including a glass entrance and windows to visually open up the Courtyard as a public space. Read more…

Before
Purpose built and opened in 1861, the market dealt in livestock and dry goods. The current Markethall restoration project plans to include heritage interpretation and activities that will celebrate the architectural and social history of the Markethall. Read more…
